Take #30: War Dogs

It often happens that the least heralded movies turn out to be the most watchable - and so it was with this one. War Dogs was sharp and witty and made some telling points about how the US Government works its arms deals. Jonah Hill was, simply, brilliant, and the rest of the cast backed him up very well indeed. The soundtrack was refreshing, too , including songs by Pink Floyd and Linda Ronstadt, among others. This film was one of the most pleasant cinematic surprises of 2016; i'm pleased that I was persuaded to see it.
